A practical guide to setting up CHECK and judging whether it works for your store.
How should I start?
Connect three to five products with clear photos, review their charts and run admin previews. Add the CHECK block to your theme, set a usage limit and enable the fitting room when you are happy with the results.
Can I connect more than one product?
Yes. Select several products and choose the garment kind for each. Keep full outfits separate from individual garments: a full-outfit preview does not produce one size for every item.
Where do the size charts come from?
CHECK can import supported tables from product descriptions, size-chart metafields and linked store size-guide pages. Review imported values in the app. You can also upload or paste a CSV body-measurement table. Automatic import cannot understand every chart format.
What should an uploaded chart contain?
Use your own intended-body measurements, a size label per row, and explicit centimetre or inch units. Review the converted values before saving. Flat garment measurements, ambiguous ranges, PDF files and image charts are not supported by this upload flow.
What if a product has no chart?
Shoppers can still preview the look. CHECK does not show a size letter unless it has a real applicable chart. Adding a chart is what makes the size answer available.
How does the size answer work?
It compares an estimate from height and weight, adjusted for fit preference, with your chart. It is guidance, not a body measurement or a fit guarantee. Check it against your product knowledge and customer feedback.
Does the generated image show the fit of that exact size?
No. The preview shows the garment's appearance on the shopper. The size recommendation is calculated separately. Fabric behaviour and physical fit can differ from the generated image.
Does CHECK learn automatically from each shopper?
The Shopify experience does not retain a permanent shopper measurement profile or automatically retrain from try-ons. CHECK keeps operational and garment-quality records. Evaluating sizing improvements needs reliable fit outcomes, not just a count of generated images.
What counts towards paid usage?
Accepted successful storefront try-ons count according to the Shopify plan. Failed, cancelled and blocked generations do not. Admin previews and development-store tests are excluded from paid usage. The app's usage page shows the recorded usage and limit.
Will a short trial prove that CHECK increases sales?
A trial can establish that setup works and the previews and size guidance are useful for your products. A low-traffic store may need longer to assess commercial value. Usage or an attributed order alone does not prove a sales increase or fewer returns.
Can I pause CHECK?
Yes. Use the enable/pause control in the app. Review the Shopify subscription separately when changing or cancelling your plan.
How are shopper photos handled?
Photos are processed to generate and check previews. The Shopify widget uses temporary sizing data and expiring private preview links. Optional browsing continuity keeps the photo and results in the current tab for up to one hour. Provider retention can differ. Read the Shopify privacy details and processor list.
