Size recommendations for Shopify, from your own size chart
CHECK gives your Shopify shoppers a size recommendation from your own size chart. It turns the shopper's height, weight and fit preference into body measurements, compares them with each size on your chart in centimetres, adjusts for how the garment is cut, and recommends a size in your labels with a confidence level. It's part of CHECK's fitting room, alongside virtual try-on.

How the recommendation is made
- Measurements, not letters. An S at one brand is an M at the next, so CHECK never reasons from the size a shopper wears elsewhere. It works in centimetres and translates to your labels at the end.
- The garment's construction. A slip dress hangs from the strap, an elastic waist gives a little, a knit sits close, a blazer is about the shoulder. CHECK recognises nine constructions like these and sizes each against your chart accordingly.
- The shopper's taste. Closer, just right or roomier shifts the pick the way a shopper would in a real fitting room.
- Honest confidence. Each answer carries a confidence level, and an alternative size when it's close between two.
What you need
A size chart with measurements per size. That's what the recommendation is read from, so it's always in your sizes.
Without a chart, CHECK doesn't invent a size. Shoppers still get the try-on and directional fit guidance.
What it doesn't claim
No size tool can guarantee fit. Bodies differ, fabrics behave differently and preferences vary. CHECK's job is to give shoppers a better-informed size choice and to be clear about how confident it is. More signal sharpens it: a photo, or a garment the shopper already owns that fits.
Adding it to your store
- Install CHECK from the Shopify App Store. You approve the plan in Shopify, and charges appear on your Shopify invoice.
- Add the CHECK block to your product template. In the theme editor: Add block, then Apps, then CHECK. It's a theme app block, so there's no code to paste.
- Choose where it appears. Pick the products and where the button sits on the page. CHECK works from your Shopify products and their images.

Questions
Which size systems are supported?
Letter sizes (XS to XL and beyond), numeric EU sizes, and waist sizes for denim and trousers, as long as they're on your size chart.
Does it work for menswear and womenswear?
Yes, both, using the chart for each.
Is size recommendation billed separately?
No. It's included in CHECK Premium. Only successful try-on images count toward usage.
Does it guarantee the right size?
No, and nothing can. It gives shoppers a better-informed choice from your own chart and shows how confident it is.
