Virtual try-on for Shopify fashion stores
CHECK is a Shopify app that adds virtual try-on to your product pages. A shopper taps the try-on button, adds one photo, and sees your garment on themselves, with a size recommendation in the same flow where your size chart supports it. It's added as a theme app block and billed through Shopify: $39 a month with 100 successful try-ons included, then $0.25 each.

What the shopper sees
- A button on the product page. It sits with the rest of the product details, styled in your fonts and colours.
- One photo. A clear, front-facing, full-length photo works best. No account, no app to download.
- The piece on them. Your garment rendered on their photo in about a minute, with a size recommendation alongside it when your chart supports one.
What makes a try-on worth showing
A try-on only helps if it shows the garment you actually sell, on a person who still looks like the shopper. CHECK reads the piece before rendering it: what it is, how long it is and how it's constructed, and uses that to guide the render.
Renders are also checked against the shopper's own photo, and one where the face has drifted isn't shown. Renders that fail or are blocked are never shown and never billed.
What works best
- Categories: tops, shirts and knitwear, jackets and coats, dresses, trousers and skirts, and full looks.
- Product images: clear shots on a plain background. Flat-lays and ghost-mannequin images give the render the cleanest view of the garment.
- Shopper photos: front-facing, full length, good light. CHECK guides the shopper to frame it before rendering.
Adding it to your store
- Install CHECK from the Shopify App Store. You approve the plan in Shopify, and charges appear on your Shopify invoice.
- Add the CHECK block to your product template. In the theme editor: Add block, then Apps, then CHECK. It's a theme app block, so there's no code to paste.
- Choose where it appears. Pick the products and where the button sits on the page. CHECK works from your Shopify products and their images.

Questions
How do I add virtual try-on to a Shopify store?
Install CHECK from the Shopify App Store, then add the CHECK block to your product template in the theme editor (Add block, Apps, CHECK). There's no code to paste, and you choose which products show it.
Does it work with my Shopify theme?
CHECK is added as a theme app block, which Online Store 2.0 themes support in the theme editor without code.
Am I charged when a render fails?
No. A try-on counts when a finished image reaches your shopper. Failed, cancelled or blocked generations are never billed.
Do shoppers need an account?
No. They add a photo and see the result. There's nothing to sign up for or download.
